It's been REALLY hard trying to get good screen grabs of these new fangled games. PSone titles are the hardest to find. I suppose the internet was slow back then, so everything is janky. Until I can make my own, here's some grabs I found that do not entirely displease me. |
Stuff I'm still looking for decent quality screens from:

Ico How this one didn't make a big impact, I'm not sure. It's a gorgeous game. I never got very far, but I enjoyed my visit. |
Ratchet and Clank 2 I didn't really care for the first one, too much ramp-up and cutscenes. Insomniac Games rectified the situation in the sequel however. Weapon upgrades were never this fun. A+ Platformer. |

Rez We need more games like this. It's easy to pick up. Mesmerizing and addictive. |
Metal Gear Solid 2? The hype was dead on, and for the time, the graphics were top notch. So many me-too stealth games have emerged since, it's easy to forget the innovation. |
||||
OddWorld: Abe's Oddysee Sorry Xbox, can't stand the 3D extension of this franchise. Screen by screen puzzle solving with imaginative transitions/animations. A little like Lemmings, with funky creepy style. |
Heart of Darkness Another one that slipped under the radar, but made a great platformer. The shadow monsters were particularly well rendered. |
||||
Asteroids Remakes CAN work. |
Ape Escape Graphically sorta boring, but I remember this as the first game to successfully use both analog sticks on the dual-shock controller. That made it neat. |
||||
Diablo Essentially Gauntlet Plus |
Dark Alliance: Baldur's Gate Essentially Diablo Plus |
||||
SkullMonkeys Claymation sprites and potty humor. |
Spy Hunter Another remake that was fun. For 3 hours. |
||||
Klonoa 2 Cell Shaded side scrolling platformer with 3D rendered backgrounds. And easy. It's nice when they throw you a bone now and then. |
