Thie is from the Connect Four TV commercial, where little sister points out her four chips in a row before the "board" is reset and all the pieces fall on the table.

I remember the commercial more than the game. I suppose the primary colors are meant to attract the younger audiences. Maybe in the future, gen x'ers can revel in updated cases of fine burled wood and leather playing surfaces of old classics like Connect Four.
