	Taylor Swift - folklore A nice surprise!
	The 1975 - Notes on a Conditional Form There's no good reason an album can meander this much and still work in a single listen.
	Fiona Apple - Fetch the Bolt Cutters Another surprise. Unrelated, I can't decide if I'm sad Fiona doesn't have a personal website or not.
	Harry Styles - Fine Line My friend insisted I listen to this on her record player and dang if I'm now listening to it all the time.

	Tame Impala - Currents This feels like lots of other things from the past blended together and tweaked through dreamy filters, and I'm more than ok with that

READING

	Shit, Actually Lindy West I super loved Lindy's memoir Shrill.
	A Very Punchable Face Colin Jost Speaking of memoirs, this ones breezy and funny.
	Station Eleven Emily St. John Mandel I can't remeber reading a book so quickly. Suprisingly uplifting considering the topic (an epidemic that wipes out 99%+ of the world)
	Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil John Berendt Dunno why I wanted to read this, but I know it is a favorite book of Casey's. Thoroughly enjoyable. Makes me long to travel again, then again, so does everything.
	Stillness is the Key Ryan Holiday You know when you dog ear a page to come back to it? I've done this to every other page in this book. (Finished it, dug it)
	Creativity Inc Ed Catmull In the midst of this on the recommendation from a client. Enjoying very much so far

PLAYING

	Crash Bandicoot 4 PS4 Better than I could have imagined. There are enough updates to the game structure (and graphics) to make this outing a sheer delight.
	Ori and the Will of the Wisps Switch Recently launched on the Switch. They reimagine many of the controls of the first game, but once they lock in. it's sweeeeeet.
	Control PS4 Excellent third person action game, increidbly cinematic, story was fine, but the evolution of abilities is top notch. Took a while to finish, and though the story is weak, the mechanics and presentation are above average.
	The Last of Us Parts I & II PS4 I had put the first title down a quarter way through because I was stuck. But when the second part was ready to drop I finished it. Very few times have video games made an imprint as much as these combined stories. These games are hard, emotionally. But oh so worth it.
	Ori and the Blind Forest Switch This Microsoft Studio game almost got me to buy an Xbox 5 years ago. It came out on Nintendo Switch last year and I didn't know. It's very Hollow Knight, but prettier.
	The Way of the Turtle Apple Arcade Simple platformer, kid friendly, kinda mellow. Dig it.
	Dead Cells Switch Also Metroidy, but leans Castlevania witha touch of Gauntlet thrown in and so much more.
	Hollow Knight Switch Very Metroidy, or as they call this type of side scrolling game, Metroidvania. SUPER ENJOYED, until it got too hard and then I stopped playing. Still worth it.
	God of War 2018 Incredibly solid reboot (?) of the old PlayStation series. Could've been longer, but escalates and flows wonderfully.
	Super Mario Odyssey I finished this and moved on, but it was a fun ride.
	Two Dots After reading all the year end praise, I picked up a used copy and am preparing myself to get freaked out. (iOS)
	Limbo I still haven't finished this game, but I keep coming back to it. (Multiplatform)
