Memorial to Police

Fraternal Order of Police Lodge No. 69 spearheaded this commemorative project dedicated to the police and canine killed in the line of duty from 1846 to the present and to all those who have served in law enforcement. At the center of a plaza of memorial bricks stands a vigilant uniformed policeman created by Bradford. Adjacent granite markers provide information about the police and project donors. District 1 of the Cincinnati Police Department is located across the street from the memorial.

Behind the Police Memorial and on the south wall of the WGUC/WCET building is a community mural project from the late 1970's depicting characters from popular public television programs.
